Macktown, a Living History Education Center, is organized to restore and interpret the cultural lifeways of this early Pecotonic Settlement, one of Winnebago County, Illinois' first communities.

September 12-Greet the Voyageurs ----landing at the Trading Post --- about 3pm, site open for tours at 1pm

October 17-Work on the Dug-out canoe (11-3pm) and October 21 (5pm)

October 9-Antique Appraisals (9-3pm $2 at the door free appraisals) Plus flea market

December 5 - Christmas Breakfast (8-11:30am) ($9 / $4 / under 3--free)
